The fashion show for 2011 Spring/ Summer in the school really give me a brand new feeling about the designers for the school. I would have to say it might be the best show ever in the school since I have been to school, and most of the time I cannot shut my mouth with the whoa sound. I would have to say the clothing has a very different type of silhouettes and very colorful, also it has a lot of the trend form this season.
As far as the fabric, I would have to say the polyester fabric will the coolest. When I saw it in the first sight, I start to think who would put it as the clothing. After the show is finished, I would say it is the only silhouettes I would think back. Polyester used to be so popular in the 1980’s and early 1990’s although it is not as popular as it used to be, I do think since fashion is a cycle it will come back recently.
Mary Quant, a Welsh designer and also one of the most important British designers in the British fashion industry. She also known as the first person who creates polyester clothing and mini skirts, and it has been a big shock in the time. Back then when everyone are all very conservative, Mary Quant seems to be the long one who bring the fashion into another steps. It did seems a little bit wired back then but now since anything can be fashion, people’s acceptance level are getting higher wearing a polyester and walking on the streets might not looks so wired.

I do think the polyester fashion is going to come back and people might be able to accept it more easily.
